We do not offer tryouts. You’re welcome to stop by the dojo and observe the class prior to enrolling.

At FSKA, student(s) can start training karate as early as 5 years old. Before enrolling your child(ren), parents should take them to the dojo and observe at least one class to see if it’s right for your child(ren).

Registration/ Enrollment can be done at the Dojo during daily Office Hours:

  • Mondays & Wednesdays: 5:00 – 6:15pm
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:00 – 8:00pm
  • Fridays & Weekends: Closed
  1. Beginner Special Rate is $100 first month for each member including Free Uniform + Patch (cost $45 if purchased separately).
  2. There’s No Contract and No Registration Fee.
  3. Beginner Students train twice/ week in Beginner Class.
  4. After this first month, please refer to Regular Monthly Rates or Family Special Monthly Rates below:

Regular Monthly Rates:

  • Twice/ week training: $120
  • Once/ week training: $100
  • Per training: $30

Family Special Monthly Rates: (for immediate family members only)

  • 1 member: $120
  • Each additional member: $60

No private lessons are offered currently. However, Distance Training could be an option. Students train karate at home, send videos of kihon/ kata and receive video corrections from Shihan Kyle on WhatsApp.

No Online (Zoom) lessons are offered at the moment. Please refer to Distance Training info from the previous question.

In order to earn a higher belt rank, students must take an exam. Kyu/ Pre-Dan Exams are held every two months (6 times per year) in January, March, May, July, September, and November during regular class time.

Dan (Black Belt) exam is held only once a year in November during class time.
