1. SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR: Open to ALL (NO prior karate experience necessary) Time: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Fee: $20 (for Self-Defense Seminar only)
ATTIRE: Students: GI; Non-Members: Loose clothing (sweats, etc.)
This exciting seminar will be one of the MOST VALUABLE AND PRACTICAL hands-on seminars that you will ever attend. You will be taught awareness and actual physical moves that MAY save your life one day. This seminar is taught by Kyle Funakoshi. Funakoshi Sensei brings you to a level (sometimes with humor) that makes it very easy to comprehend these self-defense techniques and incorporate them into your daily life!
Techniques to be covered include: (1)Breaking loose from grabbing attacks (2) Choke holds (3) Defending against knife & club attacks (4) Wrist locks, arm locks and chokes.
